What is Oracle EPM?

Oracle EPM (Enterprise Performance Management) is Oracle's cloud suite for financial planning, consolidation, and reporting. Learn what it includes and why GCC enterprises use it.

Oracle EPM (Enterprise Performance Management) is Oracle’s cloud-based suite of financial management products that covers budgeting and planning, group consolidation, account reconciliation, cost and profitability analysis, and tax reporting — used by medium and large enterprises to manage financial performance from planning through close.

The suite replaced Oracle’s on-premises Hyperion products, which many enterprises across the GCC and Egypt have been running for over a decade. Oracle EPM Cloud operates on Oracle’s infrastructure and is updated quarterly by Oracle, which means customers always run the current version without managing upgrades. The individual products — PBCS for planning, FCCS for consolidation, ARCS for reconciliation, PCMCS for profitability, TRCS for tax — can be implemented independently or in combination.

For enterprises in Egypt and the Gulf, Oracle EPM is particularly relevant because it supports multi-entity consolidation for complex group structures, multi-GAAP reporting for organisations with both local GAAP and IFRS obligations, and Tax Reporting configuration for Saudi Arabia’s ZATCA requirements and the UAE’s corporate tax framework.
